Little Penang Cafe @ The Curve

Penang Island is famous as the food heaven, every Malaysian talk about it will sure drooling for the yummy food.  Unfortunately, most of the penang assam laksa, char kuey teow and etc. we found in KL is not so authentic.  When i pass by this Little Penang Cafe one day, i'm still wondering whether their food is as nice as the original one?  You never try, you never know, right?  So, i step in for my food testing journey.

Penang Assam Laksa
First of all, to justify whether it's origin or not we have to order the Assam Laksa.  The presentation looks same, the ingredients is same, then how about the taste?  After my first spoonful of the soup, arghh~~ It's the same taste as well!  Love the sourness and not too spicy soup, i finish the whole bowl including the soup. *burp burp*

Lam Mee
Next, the Lam Mee.  The soup/gravy looks different from most of the Lam Mee i have in KL, which is brown in color.  Don't judge it by it's pale color of the soup.  The soup is surprisingly rich of taste, the noodles is chewy.  For those who doesn't consume spicy food, can order this.  You won't regret.

Char Kuey Teow
Here comes the signature Char Kuey Teow, serves on top a piece of banana leave.  It's really a Char Kuey Teow which without the yellow noodle, with prawns, a dash of crab meat.  Yes! This is the taste that i'm looking for.  One plate is never enough for me ^^

Now i know where to go next time when i craving for Penang food.  Haha....
