Jalan Petaling

While i'm a student, i used to visit this stall for their 'chee cheong fun'.  They only sell 'chee cheong fun' during that time.  Now, they starts selling charcoal porridge as well.

The large banner

The stall, it's the same stall as 'kum lin kee' which famous with their charcoal 'hokkien mee' at night.

Our meal~ porridge and yaw tiao
The Yaw Tiao is crunchy and fresh, without oily taste.  we order another plate of it. ;)  Oh, it cost RM1 per piece.

Minced pork with century egg @ RM4
The porridge is not the smoothy type but flavorful, more like home cook one.  Maybe because it's cook with charcoal, we can smell the strong rice when it's serves.  A new experience and taste for us.  Yummy~

Signature Chee Cheong Fun
As usual, still the same chee cheong fun with lots of sesame + red sweet sauce + chili.  Not bad. ^^

For those who wish to give it a try, the stall is just located at the middle cross road opposite the famous 'lo hon guo' wintermelon drink's stall.

Dragon-i Restaurant 上海拉面小笼包 @ The Curve

I have been visited this restaurant many years ago for their famous Shanghai Dumplings.  And now, i revisit to check out whether their dumpling is still as good as before. ;)

The comfy interior with open kitchen concept.

Table settings

A well boiled wintermelon drink, good to have a glass of hot one in the morning.

It's not oily, it's crunchy, it's flavorful and it's 'HOT'!  My little boy can finish this all by himself. ^^

Pan Fried Noodle with seafood
Just the presentation already get 10/10.  With lots of seafood and the pan fried noodle absorbed all the sauce, giving a very fresh + sweet (from seafood) taste.  I can even finish the sauce too.

For those crab lovers, you'll love this.  The sauce is full of crab taste and of course, the fillings are full of crab meats too.  Just the skin is too thick and more chewy.

Here comes their signature dumplings.  First, drink the soup.  Second, take a big bite of the dumpling.  Yum~ Yum~  It's still as good as usual.  The best of all!

Salt & Pepper Deep Fried Beancurds 椒盐豆腐 @ RM8
I love these tiny golden beancurds, it's like mini gold blocks.  So, cute~  Okay, let's pop into your mouth. Wait! Wait! Wait!  It's piping hot inside!  Yes, it has a crunchy outer layer coated with salt & pepper (not too salty or peppery) with a smooth & soft tofu inside.  Served with some sweet & sour sauce.  Oh no, i want one more plate please~~

As for their La Mian series, they have different noodles for you to choose from.  This is Dragon Beard La Mian (龙须拉面), but husband says it's not thin enough.  But the La Mian is quite tender and Q, so, it's still nice.  The flavorful soup served with lots of spring onions, sesame oil and shredded pork.  Nice~

This is a very nice soup with lots of seafood and veges.  Not too spicy with a lil sour,  i can only have this soup without the noodles.  Slurp~~

They have more interesting food in their menu, hope i can try them all. ^^

I was craving for steam fish recently.  Husband drove me to this special Highland Restaurant, as their fishes are breed and living in an altitude of 2800 feet high, average temperature of 18-22 degree Celsius with spring water from the mountain.  Can you imagine how's the taste like? ;)

The shop

The menu

Spring water Talapia, special and good~

Besides fish, their vegetables are from highland too

Garlic fried Brinjal (small) @ RM8
Strong with garlic taste and a bit oily.  I think they deep fried the brinjal before.

Beancurd Tofu with veges (small) @ RM12
Tofu is soft but the sauce is a bit lack of taste.

Sweet & Sour Pork (Medium) @ RM18
The sweet and sour taste is nice but if the pork comes in bigger slices + softer will be better.

Their signature Soy Sauce Steam Talapia (Medium) @ RM23
Actually, the fish is really fresh and nice.  The only thing is it's not served with fire rack, so that the fish becomes cold easily.  The waiter told me that we have to special request for the fish to be served with fire rack, but i thought the chef should knows what is the best way to serve their fish instead.  What a big mistake here~

For those who wish to give it a try, can visit their shop at the following address:
