Chicago Rib House @ One Utama

I bought voucher (forgot which company) to try out their famous pork ribs.  Can't recall the price of the deal also, please forgive my dory memory.

The kitchen behind the counter

Interior

Bar counter

Soup of the day, just feel it contains lots of peppers. :(

Our carbonated drinks.

Hickory BBQ Bacon Burger
A juicy pork burger loaded with Hickory BBQ sauce, topped with crispy bacon and cheese.  Served with onion ring and french fries.  I like the burger, i like the onion rings.  Next time gonna order again~

Grilled Bourbon Chicken
Two grilled boneless chicken breast topped with signature Bourbon sauce and sprinkled with mixed cheese. The breast is full of cheesy smells, just if it serves with some extra sauce will be better.

Chicago's Famous Pork Ribs (Half Rack)
Served with mashed potato and corn on the cob.  The rib is juicy,  just it's not served in hot condition.  Hope they improve on it.

Overall, their meal is nice and the portion is big.  The seat that we are sitting is warm, hope they install more air-cond at the counter area.

Wing Hiong Bak Kut Teh @ Batu Caves

Bak Kut Teh is my husband's favourite.  Since there is a good deal, i just bought the coupons to dine with him.

The exterior of the shop

The menu

Bak Kut Teh , this portion is for two persons.

We got two pots of Bak Kut Teh with onion oil rice.

The portion comes with lots of pork belly, tau pok, button mushrooms, beancurd pieces and etc.  The soup base is not too strong with herbal which fulfill my husband's appetite.  He gives thumb up for the portion which has more meat compare to most of the other Bak Kut Teh's servings.

Japanese food @ Umami Cafe

This is my first visit to Umami Cafe since it has been opened nearly a year.  They have wi-fi, UNO, poker card games and etc for you to enjoy your time here.

A colorful interior with bean bags, nice for group gathering.

A limited edition Coca-Cola cans and bottles' display corner.

They have a smoking room too.

Their menu.

Fried ramen + chicken chop.  The ramen is Q but the chicken chop is lack of taste.

Buta Enoki Roll, it's actually some enoki mushrooms + carrot stick + french bean wrapped with pork strip.  The pork is crunchy and it is nice to dip with the sauce, yummy~

Gyoza, it comes with the following japanese curry rice.  So far so good but we expect more meat instead.

Japanese Curry rice, the chef has apply extra curry powder in order to meet up with local appetite.

Buta Kakunimen, the ramen is Q too.  The clear soup is nice and the pork is tender, thumbs up!

I'm sure to come back to try out their chashu and other dishes. ^^
