Even though it's just mid of lunar month of July, mooncakes are selling right now.  Every year, i'll search for some gift packs for my mom.  While i shop at AEON shopping centre, i saw these unique gift packs sold in one of the booth.

It consists of Brown Sugar with Grains Salt Yolk Cake, Queen Cake, Chestnut Dessert and Sesame Cookie.

This black box is for myself.

Drooling while seeing these gift boxes?  Quick grab one for yourself before it's sold out. ;)

Authentic Shanghai Mooncake 正宗上海月饼

Husband bought a packet of Shanghai Mooncake from Shanghai.  This is my first time having the original Shanghai mooncake.  I just used to have the Shanghai mooncake from local bakery shop and it's limited flavour.

The box
Heard this shop is the oldest shop in Shanghai.

The mooncakes
Actually, it has more than six flavours.  Since husband is boarding and not allowed to bring the meat flavour on board, so he just bought the vegetarian type.  Here's the red bean paste, green bean paste, passion fruit, Taiwanese vege, black sesame and salt & pepper.  The mooncake just a palm size's big.
