Hokkaido Ramen Santouka @ Pavilion

What is better than having a bowl of hot noodle soup as brunch in a rainy day?  We arrived at 12am and the restaurant is already in long queue, it took us 15 - 20 mins to get a seat.  The noodle really delicious?  Let's check it out.

The dining area

Pork Gyoza @ RM10
The menu mentioned it's chicken Gyoza but when i order, the waitress tell me it's pork.  So, here comes the pork version.  Unlike the ordinary sauce servings i had at other restaurant, instead of ginger and vinegar, it serves with vinegar, soy sauce and chili oil.  A new combinations for me and it taste nice as well.  The Gyoza itself is crunchy at the skin and the meat is well marinated, just having it without the sauce is enough.  Depends on your own preference.

Charhan with Ramen set @ RM33

Ikura rice with Ramen set @ RM41

Char Siu rice with Ramen set @ RM33
Overall, the rice from the sets were taken by my kids.  I just be able to have a small bite of the ingredients.  The Char Siu taste sweet, i guess it's cook with teriyaki sauce.  Ikura is fresh and pop in the mouth.  Fried rice is yummy~

Each sets comes with a small bowl of salad, some pickles, Chawanmushi and a cup of non-refillable chinese tea.  Husband says it's weird of having Chinese tea at a Japanese restaurant, he thought it should serves with green tea.  I agree.

As for the Ramen, you may choose from 3 kinds of soup base:  Shio (Salt Flavour), Shoyu (Soy Sauce Flavour) and Miso (Soybean paste flavour).  Since we order 3 lunch sets, so we have 3 different kinds of soup base at once.  The Ramen serves with a thick slice of slice pork (Char Siu), bamboo shoots, Japanese fish cake and seaweed.  First of all, we taste the soup.  All soup base is thick enough and not oily, i have to give a thumb up for their soups!  Unfortunately, when it comes to their noodle, i have to say it's very disappointed.  It's not the kind of handmade Ramen but more like those yellow noodles with strong alkaline taste.  Especially when you having the noodles with the Shio soup base, the taste is stronger compare to other soup base.

Chawanmushi
I like their Chawanmushi, it contains chicken, shitake mushroom and fish at the bottom.  I can taste the Dashi stock and i love it.  Yumz~

K3K Benta Kaya (桂三记) @ Seri Kembangan

We are heading to The Mines in one early morning to let our kids to play at the Kidz Paradise.  Before the workout session, we need to fulfill our stomach first.  We pass by K3K and give it a try.

Yau Char Kuey with Kaya serve with coffee or tea @ RM3.80
This is my first time having yau char kuey with kaya, and it tastes real good.  The yau char kuey is crunchy and fresh (e.g. without the oily taste) and the kaya is not too sweet.  Must try~

Nasi Lemak with coffee or tea @ RM5.80
This set is order by my kid so we omit the sambal, the chef replace it with papaya slices.  The slices is sour, spicy and crunchy.  I whack all ^.~

Indo Mee Goreng with coffee or tea @ RM 6.80
Nothing to shout at as this is the instant noodle, u know the taste too. hehehe......

Breakfast set with coffee or tea @ RM6.80
A generous amount of breakfast set, with the price which serves with a cup of tea or coffee, it's reasonable, right?

Giant Curry Puff @ RM5.80
Here comes the giant curry puff, the largest i ever had.  It's as long as the length of a dining folks.  The puff contains potato and chicken, not too spicy but full of curry taste.  Yummy~

The bar counter
I accidentally spotted the bottle of Melaleuca Sol-U-Guard Botanical spray.  I have one at home which is quite effective in killing 99.99% of bacteria and viruses.  Moreover, it's a natural product.  Oh, what a considerable restaurant~

And...... each of my kids receive an angpao after the meal.  Arghhh, how to forget this restaurant??? Must visit again!!

Kidz Paradise @ The Mines

Kids are having one week holiday during this Chinese New Year.  It's the busiest time for a mother because the kids will be wandering around with noise.  I can't expect them to enjoy shopping at the mall with me all the time.  Thus, i have to look for those indoor playground for them to burn their energy while i can go shopping.  Of course, husband will stay together with them.  ^.~

I bought a voucher for them earlier which can be redeem during public holiday without prior booking.  So, here comes my kids' happiest day at Kidz Paradise.

The 'sand' corner

Actually, these are not sand but a kind of seed called Cassia tora

Here's the introduction of the Cassia seed
My kids spend most time at the 'sand' corner because this cannot find at other indoor playground at the moment.  The Cassia seeds are more comfortable for kids to play with compare to sand.

The playground has baby room and party section.  Normal entrance fee to the playground is RM25 per child.  Parents must stay with the kid in the playground, both parent and kid must wear socks.
