The Apartment @ The Curve

Have been visiting this restaurant quite some while ago, now only dig out the photos and post here.

The indoor dining area

The outdoor dining area

The apartment soup
Light chicken broth with sauteed shitake mushrooms, finely diced vegetable and spinach.  Every spoon full of shitake mushroom's smells, nice.

The Apartment Hearty Breakfast
A hearty serving of toast, baked beans, hash brown, chicken sausages, turkey ham, sauteed mushrooms and  grilled tomatoes.  Actually it comes with beef bacon but we change it to turkey ham because we are not consuming beef.

And the set comes with a cup of brewed coffee/tea and a glass of orange juice.

Chicken in Pot
Chicken breast with leek, cannellini beans, new potatoes, whole grain mustard & cream - all baked in a pot of flavourful goodness.  Caution! It's piping hot~  Yummy~ ^^

Duck Confit
Slow-cooked duck served with potato wedges, apples, cherry tomato and plum chutney.  The sauce is sweet and it matches well with the duck.  Unfortunately, the duck is a bit hard.  I prefer more to soft type.

Authentic Shanghai Mooncake 正宗上海月饼

Husband bought a packet of Shanghai Mooncake from Shanghai.  This is my first time having the original Shanghai mooncake.  I just used to have the Shanghai mooncake from local bakery shop and it's limited flavour.

The box
Heard this shop is the oldest shop in Shanghai.

The mooncakes
Actually, it has more than six flavours.  Since husband is boarding and not allowed to bring the meat flavour on board, so he just bought the vegetarian type.  Here's the red bean paste, green bean paste, passion fruit, Taiwanese vege, black sesame and salt & pepper.  The mooncake just a palm size's big.

Ole Ole Bali @ Empire Gallery, Subang

Balinese cuisine, this is something new for me.  After some research, we proceed to the Ole Ole Bali at Empire Gallery in Subang Jaya.

Barley Lime Juice @ RM18.00 / Jug
One jug can fill in six glasses.  Love the sweet barley taste with fragrant lime juice.

Nasi Campur @ RM35.00
Combination of Balinese Grilled Lemongrass Prawns, Squid, Fish, Chicken Rendang and Sate Lilit, served with Lawar Kacang (Beans Salad), Sauteed Kangkung, Rempeyek (Anchovy Cracker), Nasi Uduk, Sambel Terasi & Sambel Matah.  Everything is nice and juicy except the prawn which i expect the chewy prawns instead of mouth melted prawns.

Kid's Pasta @ RM9.00
The dish is served with orange juice or soyabean milk.  The sauce is not ordinary tomato sauce but with something special which we don't know.  With lots of fried shallots, it's a surprising meal at all.  Nice~

Grilled Chicken Chop @ RM28.00
The chicken was well marinated with an authentic Balinese lemongrass sauce and grilled to perfection, served with mixed greens, watermelon and seasoned fries.  The chicken is juicy and i like the lemongrass smells so good~

If you need something special, here is a good place i recommended.
